VW Polo R WRC – Not only have a great desire to become the number one car manufacturer in the world, Volswagen (VW) also want to conquer in the world rally championship, the World Rally Championship (WRC) using Polo R. However, before realizing it was the VW should boost the power of VW Polo R to 300 horsepower.
Two times WRC champion Carlos Sainz trusted to do the testing to measure performance and reliability VW Polo R WRC. “I really enjoy being involved in the development and testing of the latest Polo R WRC. Sainz added that the car is still in its infancy but it already feels very good,” said Carlos Sainz as reported by autoevolution.
Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg as the VW Development Division said, the first test the latest VW Polo R WRC is a special occasion and marks an important milestone in our preparation to follow the WRC event.
“VW Polo R WRC being tested is an early stage of a rally car the next. This car is used to test the engine, gearbox or suspension parts,” says Volkswagen Motorsport Director Kris Nissen.
